Making Room for God

To make room for the new thing God wants to do inside of you, old things must go. It’s hard for God to bring about something new within us if we’re still crowded inside with old stuff. When we aren’t seeing more of God’s power, more of God’s breakthroughs, more of God’s presence, more of God’s dynamite, it’s simply because we’re too full of something else for God to fill us.
~ Excerpted from Dry Bones Dancing by Tony Evans

It’s a new day and a new week.

If God decides to do something new in us, will there be room?

Wow! This is so true!! I am and have been trying to do this daily!

In your post yesterday, it isn’t the same hunger I had this time last year…..I am not sure what it is….maybe in a way an emptiness? idk The real problem with me is always comparing myself with others and what they think of me. But I am trying to over come that and just look at what God thinks of me. =)

    • Sounds like you’re headed in a good direction on your journey with God! And learning to value God’s opinion of us above that of others can take a while to deal with because we’ve spent so many years valuing the opinion of others; but again, you’re headed in a good direction with God. Excited for you!
